District 6 Bulletin Board
Kittanning is in need of one more team to fill its dual tournament on January 8, 2011. Committed teams are Kittanning (7AA), Butler (7AAA), Trinity (7AAA), Sharon (10AA) and Forest Hills (6AA). It is three competition points and you will get five dual meets. Contact Coach Putt at jputt@asd.k12.pa.us if interested.
Mount Union is looking for a dual meet for the 2010-2011 season. Several dates are available and our junior high also has an opening. Please contact cwertz@muasd.org if interested.
Athens (D-4 AA) has two summer tournaments. If you have a team or are an individual looking for one then this may be for you. At each event we make up a team of freelance kids and call it the X-Men in case you do not have a team.

o Cost $400 per team or $40 for an individual
o Weigh-ins Saturday 10 am - Noon
o Wrestling Saturday 1 pm and Sunday 10 am
o What 9 matches over two days (more with exhibitions)
o Who Currently have teams from Pa district 2, 3, 4, 6, & 11 as well as NY
· Summer Brawl July 10th
o Cost $375 per team or $35 for an individual
o Weigh-ins Friday 6 pm – 7 pm or Saturday 7 am – 8:30 am
o Wrestling Saturday 9 am
o What six matches (more with exhibitions)
o Who Currently have teams from Pa district 2, 4, 6, & 10 as well as NY and Ma

Blairsville is looking for an 8th team for there dual tournament which will be held Dec. 11th and worth 3 points. Everybody will get 5 matches. Present teams attending are Blairsville, Indiana, Marion Center, Central Cambria, Sheffield, Mo Valley, and North Star. The tournament in set in two pool format with cross bracketing for placement. 2011 Richland Duals: Biggest Dual Tournament in the State is Expanding:
We are currently expanding again next year to 35 teams. Each team will get 8-10 dual matches in two days. Friday will be pool wrestling and Saturday will be bracket wrestling. Jan 14th and 15th 2011, Anyone interested should contact. Coach Bassett at wbassett@richlandsd.com
St. Christophers School in Richmond, VA has the following openings in its 2010-11 schedule and is looking for teams:
December 11-12- St. Christophers Invitational. We are looking for 12-16 teams for a double elimination tournament.
January 14-15- Red Storm Duals. Again, we are looking for 12-16 teams for a dual meet, pool style tournament.
January 28-29- We have a completely open date.
St. Christophers School is one of Virginias top wrestling programs- public or private. We have won the past nine Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association (VISAA) State titles and placed 7th at the 2010 National Preps Tournament at Lehigh University.
